We created Usarea to help you design truly usable medical devices. Our team combines regulatory expertise and user-centred design, with a clear goal: to support you at every step in a human, accessible and rigorous way.
Our story
We are two medical device enthusiasts, united by a common vision: to make medical devices more intuitive, safer, and truly adapted to those who use them.
With more than 10 years of combined expertise, we quickly observed two major challenges:
- The rapid innovation in medical devices requires constant attention to safety and ease of use.
- The usability engineering process (62366) is often perceived as complex and difficult to grasp, despite its indispensable role in bringing compliant and adapted devices to market.
We decided to join forces to support and educate manufacturers at every step of this process, not only to meet current standards, but above all to deliver intuitive, safe devices that meet user needs.
